GRUEsome Grass Services Policies
Assigned Lawn Service Day
GRUEsome Grass schedules lawn services within designated areas each day of the week ensuring that each customer is assigned a specific service day and alternate day throughout the season. Although we assign a specific mowing day, the time of your service may vary from week to week.
Gates and Pets
All pets must be indoors and all gates must be unlocked on your mow day. If we arrive to your property and cannot mow the back yard due to a pet in the yard or a locked gate, you will still be charged. Our crews are very careful about closing gates before they leave, but we do not guarantee that a pet will not escape from the yard, therefore, you accept our service with this provision. GRUEsome Grass is not responsible for lost or injured pets.
Items in the Yard
We ask all customers to please pick up all small items such as toys, hoses, pet waste, and other items in the yard before our technicians arrive each week. GRUEsome Grass is not responsible for damage to exposed sprinkler lines, other lines, cable, dog fence lines and other items. GRUEsome Grass is not responsible for broken items or any injuries that result from use of these items after they have been moved by our technicians.
Watering
Please do not water your lawn on your service day. Wet grass can cause clumping and streaking.
Holidays
On weeks when a national holiday falls, we may adjust the your lawn day schedule.
Satisfaction Guaranteed
All GRUEsome Grass clients are guaranteed satisfaction with their lawn care service. If you ever feel that your lawn service is not satisfactory, please contact us at info@gruesomegrass.com the day of your mowing and we will come back and fix the problem. Credits are not available.
Cancellations
You may cancel your service with us anytime you wish, for any reason, without a cancellation fee as long as you are not on a year contract. Please understand though, that if you do not cancel your service, we will return to your house throughout the season and from season to season until you cancel. Customers who wish to cancel must submit their request at info@gruesomegrass.com or speak with a GRUEsome Grass at 800-704-9645. Cancellations must be submitted by the day before the mowing you wish to discontinue service on.
Rain
We always try to finish our routes, even on rainy days. If we are unable to complete your service due to a heavy rain all day, we will adjust the rest of the week’s schedule by one day so that we will service all remaining lawns the day after their scheduled day. To avoid excessively long grass, we recommend allowing us to mow even when the lawn is wet.
Payment
For your convenience payment for services can automatically be billed to a debit or credit card the day of your lawn care service. Those who prefer to pay by cash or check may do so at the time of service. Payments made by check to GRUEsome Grass that are not honored by the bank will incur a return check fee of $30 dollars, which will be applied to your account.
Invoices will be sent out at the first of the month. Invoices past due more than 15 days from the due date will be subject to a $10.00 late fee.
All Invoices will be e-mailed to the customer unless other arrangements have be approved.
Declined Cards
In the event that a card is declined, we will try the card again the following day. If the card does not go through a second time, the next service will be put on hold until we are able to reach the client. Those responds quickly with another card, we will promptly put them back on the schedule.
